Welcoming Team
For anybody attending the Naga Christian Fellowship Delhi service for the first time, he/she might have been greeted by a few youth members. These are the Welcoming Team members who ensure that the newcomers feel welcomed in a new milieu. They take special care to acknowledge their presence, encourage them to join the fellowship again and show through their warm demeanour that the church is a good place to build valuable, lasting friendships and grow in the Lord.
Refreshment Team
A refreshment can become quite unrefreshing if one has to make the arrangements all on their own. So, we have this group of energetic people to take the trouble of purchasing, preparing, setting the table and serving the congregation with refreshing food and beverages.
Mission Team
NCF Delhi is also committed to supporting mission fields in India and abroad. Currently, NCF is actively involved in aiding the following missions. Anyone is welcome to pledge any amount of money towards these missions. Over the years, it has been a joy to see these missions grow in the light of the Lord. Our fervent prayers are with the hope that our contributions also grow. How good it is to find joy through our service to others.
- Mongolia Mission
The NCFD through Youth department and the Women department have been making monthly contributions for the mission work towards the Youth ministry in Ulaan Bataar, Mongolia since 2011. Under the leadership of Aphrezo Krose from Medziphema, Nagaland, we are currently helping a local young man Amos Erdenenyam. Aphrezo and Amos work together in sports and youth ministry as part of YWAM (Youth with A Mission) where they focus on building relationships with young boys and evangelizing through sports, particularly football. Aphrezo is also the Sports Coordinator in charge of various sports ministries and Amos also leads a DTS (Discipleship Training School) program which aims to equip university students with the word of God. The Mission team focuses on collecting funds, or also known as “pledges”,from the youth members to support this mission. Members from the team take responsibility in collecting fixed funds from members who pledge to contribute towards a mission for one year
2. The Wilderness Mission
Allen Sangtam founded the Wilderness Mission based in Purola district, Uttarkashi where he is the Headmaster of the Mission School as well as Pastor of the Wilderness Mission Church. Besides his duties and responsibilities at the school, Allen also dedicates his time in spreading the word of God in the region. He has reached out to some of the most remote and neglected villages of the district. NCF Delhi does not support him on a regular basis but offers assistance whenever needed. We also help Mr. Allen connect with individuals/ organisations to get support for his mission.
3. MIQLAT (Shelter in God’s Wings)
‘Miqlat’ is the Hebrew term for ‘refuge’ and the Miqlat Ministry is a social ministry under the Nagaland Baptist Church Council which was established to rehabilitate women in the sex trade and victims of trafficking. It aims to empower and restore the dignity of the women through the power of God. The Miqlat ministry provides these women with better and alternative occupations to earn their livelihood with dignity and honor. NCF Delhi made a commitment starting from 2017 to make regular monthly contributions to the cause of this rescue ministry.
