Every Good Friday we gather together to remember how Jesus Christ willingly suffered and died by crucifixion as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. Here in NCF Delhi during our Good Friday service, we encourage all to come forward and light a candle as an act of personal prayer that helps us to reflect on this truth and on Christ as we pray.
The lighting of the candle also symbolises our commitment/recommitment to God in the same way that Christ gave Himself up to His Father.
